Suggestions for Using Transposed Scores:  These transposed parts are intended to supplement the concert pitch scores included in the text in order to provide a flexible set of performance parts for in-class use. The following descriptions might aid in the distribution of voices:

B-flat transpositions:

Soprano Part: Soprano Saxophone, Clarinet, Trumpet (some octave displacement might be advisable)

Alto Part: Clarinet, Trumpet

Tenor Part: Clarinet & Trumpet (read 8vb), Tenor Saxophone & Bass Clarinet (read at pitch)

Bass Part: Bass Clarinet

E-flat Transpositions:

Soprano, Alto & Tenor Parts: Alto Saxophone

Bass Part: Baritone Saxophone

F Transpositions:

Soprano Part: English Horn (some octave displacement might be advisable)

Alto & Tenor Part: Horn

Bass: Horn (reading at pitch in bass clef)
