The Research Informed Music Learning (RIML) book series seeks to bridge the gap between theory and practice in music teaching and learning. Written by authors who are both music researchers and experienced practitioners, each book focuses on one specific aspect of music learning, presenting practical learning strategies and teaching approaches that are grounded in evidence-based research, connecting research to practice. The content is presented clearly, using jargon-free language, allowing the reader to quickly assimilate and apply the information provided to the development of the musicianship of their students and/or themselves.
