If I were only able to purchase one book about the clarinet, it would be “The Clarinet Studio Companion.” It provides much valuable information about all the need-to-know topics, such as history, reeds and repertoire, as well as practical advice on rehearsal etiquette and professional auditions. I cannot imagine a more complete and helpful guide to the clarinet. I believe it will be a well-worn fixture in the libraries of many student and professional musicians. – Andrea Levine, Principal Clarinet, The Louisville Orchestra Adjunct Associate Professor (Clarinet), Indiana University Jacobs School of Music

Anthony McGill –
This book covers so many important topics that it may be the most comprehensive clarinet book of the last few decades. The authors have used their own knowledge and gathered so many great voices of players and teachers, that it is a resource to be valued for many years to come. Thankful to Josh and Ellen for offering us this gift to the clarinet world!
